Have you ever wondered in a world of endless "religions" which one is the correct one?
Growing up in a atheist family my perceptions of the bible were formed by the opinions of those around me, and slanderous hearsay quickly can become truth for me after hearing it over and over. It wasn't until my early twenties that someone witnessed to me in a McDonalds, and later that night, I asked Christ into my life to see for myself. God slowly worked in my life, to where today I do see miracles and enjoy him directing my life. In high school, I knew which peers where Christians, and I wanted so badly for them to tell me point by point, why I should believe in their God. Sadly, no body witnessed to me the information I was dying to know. It was a good couple years after I accepted him, that I started reaching out to him, and it was during those times that I grew the most.
You may be in the same situation, where you may be following another religion, or perhaps feel that the bible is not for you and that you do not need God. What If there was overwhelming evidence for Christ? THEN what the bible has to say would apply to you.
In a world of endless religions and voices of thought, it is important for you to find the truth. Who wants to come to the fact 40 years down the road that what they were following was a complete lie? Wouldn't you want to know the truth and have all the information and be able to make decisions off of the truth than a lie?
First, A couple things separate Christianity from all other religions.
A: Massive Evidence- Like the spokes of a bike wheel, there is massive evidence for Christ found in every direction. Christianity is not just based on the a few shreds of evidence and blind faith. There is massive evidence found in each spoke of the wheel such as archaeology, mathematics, miracles, healings, bible codes, prophecy and the list goes on. After years of investigating Christianity I can honestly say I keep coming across new pieces of evidence for Christ I didn't know before. After talking to Muslims, or Buddhists, their only piece of evidence for their God is that of design. Yes, there is incredible evidence for God that can be seen in design. The problem is that evidence is complex but not specific to their God. If you talk to any atheist, they do not have any evidence for their theory of a NO GOD, for you as the "believer" have to prove it. Instead what you find is them battling the evidence that exists for a God. If you have had many conversations with atheists, they are usually very insulting, as it is one of their only cards they have to play. If their was NO God, the very basic logic would be that there should be no shred of evidence that would exist for A God. After a careful review of the evidence for Christ, it would take a tremendous amount of faith not to believe.
B: Easy access to God and Salvation. It is within this very basic point that the bible separates itself from every other religion. For Muslims they climb the righteousness hill each day, and on their death bed they are still not assured of making it to heaven. For Catholics, it can be an even more complicated process of trying to get to heaven. They follow the bible BUT also add their own set of rules as well. They believe that you have to be cleansed in purgatory (a hell) before going to heaven. Sadly, they pay the church money in order to speed up that process. It is no wonder why so many people run from religion, because it seems impossible to get to heaven, and you can see the corruption in some of these organizations.
Christ (who was perfect) died on the cross for you and I, because it is IMPOSSIBLE to get to heaven by a persons own works. ONLY within Christianity can you ask God to be apart of your life, and that very moment you can go to heaven. In John 3:16 says, "For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life." Think for a moment that even the most righteous person has flaws. It would make no sense for God to have a graduated grading curve for people to make it into heaven. Jesus was that perfect lamb that was slaughtered for your sins and mine.
Sadly, there are so many religions today that it has caused confusion and has given people a bad taste in their mouth about God, that when the real thing comes along, they reject it, thinking "seen that been there". I challenge you to think of it a bit differently. Yahweh, the God of the bible sits at your door as your father you walked away from and rejected. He knocks at the door only wanting a relationship with you. He doesn't want your money, he just wants to show you the love he has for you. That father has watched you grow up, and just wants communication with you. Many Muslims have converted to Christianity because of the LOVE they have found in the God of the Bible. (Yes, he does get angry, but wouldn't you seeing children being aborted at 8 months, or being thrown in the fire?) There is nothing that you could do that he wouldn't forgive you for. After reaching out to your father, you cannot then rob from him continually day after day and have him not get mad. My point is, ......Yahweh, God, (a father) who loves and wants to show blessings on his children who want a relationship with him. Christianity is the ONLY religion where Heaven can be attained with no strings attached IF you believe.
On to the evidence................
So what amazing evidence exists for Christianity?
1. The Bible Is God's Word- There are many accusations that the bible is full of errors which is simply not true. It is an excuse for many people to simply put their fingers in their ears. #1, The bible tells an account of the same events from 4 separate witnesses (4 gospels). Just like an accident report, there are 4 different witnesses of the same accident from different angles. They all tell the same account, but in different words. Those who take the time to read the bible have no problem harmonizing the Gospels #2 The King James Version is the most reliable bible verse, which has been confirmed in 1947 with the discovery of the dead sea Scrolls. It is no coincidence that the Oldest documents EVER found ARE THE Dead Sea Scrolls, and against all ALL ODDS they were saved in a precise location with the precise temperature and without sunlight that testify to Gods flawless word. The King James version was identical to the original manuscripts. I believe God placed that evidence to assure his people that there is a reliable manuscript amongst many modern day versions that have been carefully edited and changed.

Over 3000 contradictions (between the early manuscripts and their text) were found in the 4 gospels alone, and they changed the TRADITIONAL Greek text in over 8,413 places. It is imperative when you pick up a bible to read, to ensure you are reading a bible which was derived from the early century texts, not the modern day versions which are popular today.)
The Bible was written for God to reach out to his people.(2Timothy 3:16) How is it that 40 different authors, written over a 1,500 year span and over 40 generations could all have the same underling message?
So what is the proof that the bible is divine as we proclaim?

The bible talks about The hydrologic cycle which was not discovered by science until the 1700's, yet Ecclesiastes was written thousands of years ago. Again, the bible took the opposite position of thought that the earth was round in Isaiah 40:22, when no one would ever have thought to describe the earth as a circle. The law of increasing entropy was not discovered by science until the 1800's, yet described in the Psalms written 1000-965 B.C. The bible was correct about the atmospheric circulation described in Ecclesiastes, and the The gravitational field and the fact of the earth "floating" in the universe described in Job.
Dr. Antony Flew, one of the strongest spokespersons of atheism, argued for years in front of enormous crowds mocking the idea of God existing, admitted in 2004 that a "Super-intelligence is the only good explanation for the origin of life and the complexity of nature." He proclaimed that Scientific discoveries within the last 30 years brought him to a conclusion he could not publicly avoid. 1B: Another Proof that the bible is inspired by God is within mathematics we find in the bible. Only within the last 30 years have we had the advancement of computers capable of producing calculations which would take a man his lifetime to produce. Would it surprise you to know the bible has advanced embedded Numeral Mathematics within its words? Yes, and in fact this evidence is great in detail. Ivan Panin discovered phenomenal mathematical designs underlying both the Greek text of the New Testament and the Hebrew text of the Old Testament. He devoted 50 years of his life painstakingly exploring the numerical structure of the scriptures, generating over 43,000 detailed, hand-penned pages of analysis." 1C: Another proof that the bible is inspired by Yahweh is within the THOUSANDS of Bible codes that have been found in the bible, that can only be found with the invention of the computer. Within the bible codes is personally my favorite piece of evidence that God has left behind for us to find in these years of history. In my opening paragraph, I was making a point that many religions don't provide specific evidence, well, rest assured, Yahweh provides evidence for himself in the most unique ways, and this is one of them. In fact, it almost virtually impossible to have the amount of mathematics present in point 1B, yet alone it is absolutely impossible to add upon that codes that exist in the bible as well. It is almost beyond comprehension for the amount of complexity that is found in these bible codes that man could possibly write, and the interesting fact is that their are thousands of codes, not just a handful.
Some of this evidence is complex, but I assure you when you dig into it, it is simply beyond amazement. I would suggest (http://www.exodus2006.com/) for some of the modern day codes that have been found detailing modern day organizations, presidents of countries and natural disasters. It is amazing to see what has been found.
1D:Here is one really interesting point I always like to bring up with the bible codes, and they are specifically for Jews who are waiting for their messiah. We Christians believe Jesus is the person who the old testament describes. To be honest, you have to be blind and deaf to not see that Jesus is who the old testament describes. But to add on that another layer of proof, we can add to that is the bible codes. In some of the old testament prophecies talking about the coming messiah, the name Jesus or Yeshua has been found embedded into those verses. 74 CODES have been found in Isaiah 52-53. I challenge you to take two paragraphs and add 75 family members or an important events into a readable paragraph. AND that is not the end of it, as there are thousands of examples where you read about a specific event, and within the readable text contains many bible codes which coordinate to an event. This alone is enough evidence that says Gods word is authentic.
2. Jesus DID NOT manipulate events to fulfill prophecy when he was on the earth. He could not manipulate these events: The Place of the Messiah's Birth (Micah 5:2) Jesus had to be born through a particular family line as it was prophesied in the Old Testament. They have calculated the odds of that actually happening - 10 To the 2nd Power (1 in 10,000) Jesus would be a Descendant of David. The Date of the Messiah’s birth (Daniel 9:25). Manner of birth of the Messiah (Isaiah 7:14), The Manner of death of the Messiah (Zechariah 12:10; Psalm 22:16 prophesied before the invention of crucifixion). Piercing in side of that Messiah (Zechariah 12:10).The Details of the Burial of the Messiah(Isaiah 53:9).Executors dividing up Jesus’ clothes after he died on the cross. In the Old testament, prophecy tells US GOD Picked the City of Bethlehem for The Messiah to be Born in. Jesus ALSO would have No CONTROL over this. They calculated the odds of this - 10 to 5th Power (1 Chance in 100,000) that Jesus would be born in Bethlehem
3. Prophecy in the Bible is one authentic evidence only unique to the bible. An honest study of biblical prophecy will compellingly show the divine authorship of the Bible. Jesus fulfilled over 300 messianic prophecies written in the Old Testament scriptures. Prophecies today are coming to pass around the world that have been written in the Old Testament 2500 years ago. Here is another unique evidence that is perplexedly detailed and certainly not something to just happen by chance. There are 2,000 prophecies that discuss past events which have come to pass (proven correct), future prophecies and 300 prophecies (ALL proven correct and detailed) on the implications about the life, INCLUDING the death, and resurrection of Jesus. The Messiah would have had 456 identifying characteristics, and Jesus had them all. No other religion has specific, repeated, and unfailing fulfillment of predictions many years in advance of contingent events over which the predictor had no control.
Buddha didn't rise from the dead, nor did Confucius or Zoroaster. Muhammad or Maitreya didn't fulfill detailed prophecy. Alexander the Great, nor did Joseph Smith raise the dead or heal the sick. It did happen and it was sited by MANY NON Biblical Sources (13 in total) that the darkness did take place around the world. It happened from 12 noon to 3 pm when Jesus died. Not only that, the Holy temple curtain that separating the holy place in the temple where GOD dwelled. At the Very moment of Jesus's Death the Curtain was torn in half, signaling that there is no curtain between God and his people, as Jesus paved a way for people to have a relationship with God. The Remarkable thing about this occurrence is the curtain was 60 feet in height, 30 feet in width and 4 inches thick, so this could not happen by accidence.

If you are a mature Christian, I would encourage you to look at the Sabbath, and festivals and feasts and keep them. They are very easy to keep, such as not to buy and sell on the Sabbath. They have calculated the odds of that actually happening - 10 To the 2nd Power (1 in 10,000) Jesus would be a Descendant of David. The Date of the Messiah’s birth (Daniel 9:25). Manner of birth of the Messiah (Isaiah 7:14), The Manner of death of the Messiah (Zechariah 12:10; Psalm 22:16 prophesied before the invention of crucifixion). Piercing in side of that Messiah (Zechariah 12:10).The Details of the Burial of the Messiah(Isaiah 53:9).Executors dividing up Jesus’ clothes after he died on the cross. In the Old testament, prophecy tells US GOD Picked the City of Bethlehem for The Messiah to be Born in. Jesus ALSO would have No CONTROL over this. They calculated the odds of this - 10 to 5th Power (1 Chance in 100,000) that Jesus would be born in Bethlehem
3. Prophecy in the Bible is one authentic evidence only unique to the bible. An honest study of biblical prophecy will compellingly show the divine authorship of the Bible. Jesus fulfilled over 300 messianic prophecies written in the Old Testament scriptures. Prophecies today are coming to pass around the world that have been written in the Old Testament 2500 years ago. Here is another unique evidence that is perplexedly detailed and certainly not something to just happen by chance. There are 2,000 prophecies that discuss past events which have come to pass (proven correct), future prophecies and 300 prophecies (ALL proven correct and detailed) on the implications about the life, INCLUDING the death, and resurrection of Jesus. The Messiah would have had 456 identifying characteristics, and Jesus had them all. No other religion has specific, repeated, and unfailing fulfillment of predictions many years in advance of contingent events over which the predictor had no control.
Buddha didn't rise from the dead, nor did Confucius or Zoroaster. Muhammad or Maitreya didn't fulfill detailed prophecy. Alexander the Great, nor did Joseph Smith raise the dead or heal the sick. There is far less reliable information written about these "religious" leaders, yet they are followed by millions.
Twelve different classes representing some 600-university students worked out the of ONE man fulfilling the major prophecies concerning the Messiah in the Old testament bible. They calculated the odds for only that one man could fulfill even 48 (F O U R T Y - e i g h t ) of these Old Testament prophecies to be 1 in (10 to the 157POWER) JUST REMEMBER THAT JESUS FULFILLED OVER 300! Their figures were reviewed by the American Scientific Affiliation, and proved to be dependable and accurate(Peter Stoner, Science Speaks, Chicago: Moody Press, 1969, 4).
4. Astronomical Occurrences and Connections with the Bible. AN EARTHQUAKE and an ECLIPSE Happened while Jesus was dying on the cross. If Jesus was truly God in person dying on the cross for humanities sins, God would certainly make it an event worth noticing. It did happen and it was sited by MANY NON Biblical Sources (13 in total) that the darkness did take place around the world. It happened from 12 noon to 3 pm when Jesus died. Not only that, the Holy temple curtain that separating the holy place in the temple where GOD dwelled. At the Very moment of Jesus's Death the Curtain was torn in half, signaling that there is no curtain between God and his people, as Jesus paved a way for people to have a relationship with God. The Remarkable thing about this occurrence is the curtain was 60 feet in height, 30 feet in width and 4 inches thick, so this could not happen by accidence.
Another amazing piece of evidence is the connection between the eclipses and the festival and feast days in the old testament. If you are a mature Christian, I would encourage you to look at the Sabbath, and festivals and feasts and keep them. They are very easy to keep, such as not to buy and sell on the Sabbath. It is a whole new level to throw away the pagan holidays and keep the festivals (Matt 5:17-19)

It is just another indication that The TRUE GOD shows himself on his appointed days. An Eclipse is something only GOD Almighty can do, and he has done it on his special days.

P o i n t A : Jesus Claimed to be God
Unlike any other Religion, Jesus Christ claimed to be God (John 10:30 ) “I and the Father are one.” Look throughout the major world religions and you'll find that Buddha, Muhammad, Confucius and Moses all identified themselves as teachers or prophets, they were not divine. You will notice that None of them ever claimed to be equal to God, but Jesus did. Jesus claimed he can forgive sin himself. Today ONLY in name of “JESUS” can people be freed of Demonic activity in persons. This is a huge piece of evidence for Christ, it takes but minutes for a person to be freed in Jesus name. Don't be fooled by these week long exorcisms you see on tv. Why is it the Name of “Jesus” binds up demons, and casts them out? Possibly because demons have to submit to the name of Jesus. In the Name of Jesus, thousands of people can testify to healing. There is power in Jesus's name.
There is only one God (Exodus 20:3; Isaiah 43:10; 44:6,8) Jesus is a part of a trinity, it is not complicated to understand. Just like the mathematical model of Liquid Water-Water vapor-Ice water, all revealed in different forms.
God revealed himself in Exodus (the old testament before Jesus was born) to Moses through a Burning bush Exodus 3:14 - "And God said to Moses, 'I AM WHO I AM'; and He said, Thus you shall say to the sons of Israel, ‘I AM has sent me to you.’" THEN when Jesus walked the earth, he claimed to his disciples in John 8:58- " 'Truly, truly, I say to you, before Abraham was born, I AM.'"
Jesus claimed to be there from the beginning of the creation of the universe John 1:1 - "In the beginning was the Word(Jesus) , and the Word(Jesus) was with God, and the Word(Jesus) was God." John 1:14 - "And the Word(Jesus) became flesh, and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, glory as of the only begotten from the Father, full of grace and truth."
The Disciples of Jesus were asking JESUS about what the Father was like, - Jesus in John 14: 6-7 Jesus said to him, "I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father, but through Me. If you had known Me, you would have known My Father also; from now on you know Him, and have seen Him."

Jesus Christ says in Matthew 25:41, "Depart from me, ye cursed, into EVERLASTING FIRE, prepared for the devil and his angels."
There are over 162 references in the New Testament, alone which warns of hell. Many of the modern day churches are denying that hell exists. Over 70 references came from Jesus Christ alone. Many people label God with being mean and terrible by sending people to hell, but I encourage you to look at it in a different outlook. Understand This: - You choose hell when you reject Jesus Christ. In other words when you refuse God's love and gift of eternal life- you choose an eternity without his presence.
Is there evidence for Heaven and Hell? There are thousands upon thousands of people who have experienced a life after death. Many atheists have called these experiences miss-fires of the brain. There is new evidence from a number of collaborative Doctors around the world who have documented unique cases that proves that an after life exists. Their investigation consist of only cardiac patients who die in a controlled environment, and have three common elements, such as no heartbeat, no breathing, and are brain dead. These patients then report events that happened after being totally dead. This new evidence of like cases around the world blows holes in the common atheist answer for life after death experiences.
So, how does this affect you?
John 3:36 He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him.
With all this evidence, you have to make a decision for Christ, either to believe in him or to walk away. If you don't think that all this evidence is extra ordinary, then walk away, but also be prepared for the consequences, for hell is nothing to laugh at. There is good news. It can be a life changing direction to be able to be born again with a new set of eyes if you invite Christ into your life.
"For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." John 3:16)
Salvation is found by trusting in what Jesus did on the cross (John 14:6; Acts 4:12; 1 Pet. 2:24, John 1:12, Acts 16:30,31)

"Lord Jesus, I invite you into my life. Please forgive me for my sins. Thank you for taking my penalty of hell for me. I pray that you would open my eyes up to what I need to see. Please guide me to become the (man, woman) you want me to become. I pray for you to take control over my life. -In Jesus's name Amen."
